That's Hawk (Winston Duke), a brash, no-nonsense MMA fighter convinced he'll be a tougher opponent than Spenser ever was.
When two of Spenser's former colleagues turn up murdered, he recruits Hawk and his ex-girlfriend, Cissy (Iliza Shlesinger), to help him investigate and bring the culprits to justice.

MGN Bernard's review and Rating
Though run of the mill action thriller stuff, the fact that Netflix puts out so much garbage actually shows this in a pretty good light.
Simple seen it all before plot, but with half decent acting talent and a simple plot, this is an easy afternoon watch and the ideal Streaming watch.
Has a series/season feel about it, which is not a bad thing and on that basis a very passable pilot.
MGN Rating 6.5/10
