Banned in the UK until the 90's. For that alone worth watching this early "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest" forerunner. Both this and Samuel Fuller's following movie The Naked Kiss (1964) were rejected for UK cinema certificates and remained so until 1990.In the scene in the psychiatrist's office, Dr. Fong has on his wall portraits of Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. The famous rain sequence was shot after production finished. Fuller laid the entire set in tarp and flooded it with water hoses. The film was shot in 10 days, on one set, with no exteriors.Because of the film's budget and the size of the sound stage, Director Samuel Fuller hired little people to walk around in the far section of the corridor to give a greater sense of depth.
