MGN Review

As you'd expect from a first episode of a new season there is a lot of setting the story up, which means it is a little ploddy and slow.

The first thing I liked about the early Outlander series was the time travel, out of time element. This has been touched upon and used since and I hope it continues to be so. As it lifts it above the normal fictional historical drama.

I can take the nasty stereotypical English themes as long as the stories are good.

I am hoping for more excitement and action in the next episode and as another two seasons have been green lighted lets hope so.
