My Giant (Billy Crystal, Gheorghe Muresan, Kathleen Quinlan) 1998

The film faired poorly at the box office, grossing a little over $8 million domestically, far less than its $20 million budget.Billy Crystal was inspired to write this film from having worked with André the Giant in the The Princess Bride (1987).The film has only a 19% rating on review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes.In "My Giant" Billy Crystal originally wanted to play the role of the titular "Giant," but was convinced by producers that he would be better as Sammy Kamin ;)
