The Queen's Corgi (2019)

The British monarch's favourite dog gets lost from the palace and finds himself at a dog fight club. He then begins his long journey to find his way back home.

Stars: Rusty Shackleford, Jo Wyatt, Leo Barakat

In the UK release of The Queens Corgi Jack Whitehall voiced Rex, Debra Stephenson is Melaina Trump and Julie Waters voices the Queen.

Any Good?

What a pleasant surprise this was, a great deal of negativity out there for this, perhaps because it's not Disney or Dreamworks, etc.

Some of the accents were a bit iffy but the characters from Royalty to their little dogs were very likable.

A really good story as well, so it never gets bogged down or boring.

This is not now normally my type of film (60 year old fart) alert, but I would gladly watch it with my grandkids and enjoy it again.

It possibly won't be a DVD the kids will wear out to watch time and time again, but don't believe the negativity around this, it is pretty good fun.
