Now the young king must navigate palace politics, the war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life. Director: David Michôd Stars: Timothée Chalamet, Joel Edgerton, Tom Fisher It's always nice to see us kicking some French butt. Despite the complicated and dark tale, the film does really simplify things and improves as it moves along at a steady pace to its climax. Nothing new in the dramatization but well presented and looks like a few quid has been lavished on it. Good acting and some great scenes, with realistic one on one fight scenes, although the battle scenes do not work quite as well. The two hours plus flew by.
