Stars: Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Harris Dickinson, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert Lyndsey.

Any Good?

Well for once a movie that I approached with trepidation (mainly because it was panned by the critics) and left it feeling uplifted.

Yes there are corny bits and holes in the story and it was perhaps 10/15 minutes too long but it was a great mix of CGI and really good fairy tale storytelling.

The finale to the movie was excellent and although the story meandered at times it was never allowed to be boring and too wordy.

It should keep older children and adults happy and I would even say it was better than the first which I liked but not as much as this.

MGN Rating 8/10 IMDB Rating 7.1/10 Metascore (Critics) Rating 4.3/10
