Let It Snow (PG-13)

1hr 32m Comedy Romance

In a small town on Christmas Eve, a snowstorm brings together a group of young people.

Director: Luke Snellin

Stars: Isabela Merced, Shameik Moore, Odeya Rush

Any Good?

Another of those films that despite a link to Christmas has very little to do with the festive season apart from obligatory snow.

That doesn't mean it's a bad film it is a nice Romantic (Comedy) Drama, although the comedy element is a little weak. Very formulaic but aimed at a younger audience who unlike old farts like me has not seen similar time and time again over many years.

I smiled a couple of times and some of the young cast are very likeable, but I wanted to see more of one of my favourite actors Joan Cusack, she sadly only had a few small but good scenes which I enjoyed.

Take out the Christmas element and not too bad.
