Slant Magazine Steven Scaife 3/10
Writer-director Jason Lei Howdenís humor might have been tolerable if his film was at least reasonably imaginative.
TheWrap Simon Abrams 6/10
Guns Akimbo may be too mild to be memorable, but it is a mostly satisfying time-waster.
The Film Stage Jared Mobarak 6.7/10
With an unhinged Weaving chewing the scenery as Nix and a perfectly cast Radcliffe doing his best to survive while also finding it impossible to keep Milesí snarky thoughts in his brain out of his mouth, itís hard not to be entertained.

Mixed feelings 7/10
Not really my type of movie but I had to admit to being sort of entertained. Has the comic book rip off feel to it from the off.
I thought Radcliffe was excellent and pretty much held everything together in the lead role. His co stars didnít really impress and Ned Dennehy who I do like in other stuff, as the main baddie, was a little weak tbf.
The comedy only succeeded very occasionally and althoiugh in the days of suicide squad and birds of prey this effort attempts to be cool, but never really totally pulls it off or even gets near.
A good turn your brain off actioner for fans of radcliffe who like to see him in something a little different and this is definitely that.
