The Dead Don't Die (Review)

Saw some pretty poor reviews for this from both the Critics and Joe Public. Didn't believe it could be as awful as they were saying.

Sadly it was, there are many many Living Dead comedies out there and plenty that were meant not to be funny but were and they are all better than this.

I'm sure Bill Murray doesn't need the money and his deadpan type of humour should lend itself to this sort of Film, but sadly it soon grows tiresome. Steve Buscemi manages to bring a glimmer of fun, but his role is sadly short. As for Chloe Sevigny, I have no idea why she took on this awful whinging role? Tom Waits, Danny Glover and more, all get lost in an awful plot and no humour.

If you want to watch Zombie humour, watch Shaun of the Dead, Cockneys vs Zombies, Zombieland, even that thing based on Pride and Prejudice, but don't bother with this.

In 20 years it may become a Cult classic, but I doubt it.

MGN Rating 5/10
