A remake of the 1940 film The Shop Around the Corner (1940) starring James Stewart and Margaret Sullavan. The original film involved two employees at a leather goods store. (In the source play it was a perfumerie). They could not stand each other at work, but were unknowingly falling in love through the mail as anonymous pen pals.
Rare A2 (59x42cm approx) Movie poster. Supplied to Rental/Retail video shops to coincide with the release of the movie on video/dvd in the UK. Though unused and stored in dry smoke free conditions. The Posters are a little tired especially round the edges as they have been moved about for a few years in storage, but remain in very good condition and ideal for trimming and framing.
