Rene started getting used to the real chimpanzees a month before filming. Despite this the first Jim Henson feature film received a tepid response.
Rare A2 (59x42cm approx) Movie poster. Supplied to Rental/Retail video shops to coincide with the release of the movie on video/dvd in the UK. Unused and stored in dry smoke free conditions. Edges of poster are tired as the posters have been moved about for a few years for storage but in good condition and ideal for trimming and framing.
Under appreciated little effort that was missed by many. But is well worth a watch. Poignant and funny.
